Halvor Heiberg is employed as the new general manager of Smart Sensor Systems AS. Heiberg has previously been involved in several start-ups both nationally and internationally. He has extensive experience in business development and international sales, and has worked for several years in Beijing, among other things.
- I am looking forward to starting my job as general manager in an exciting and innovative company like Smart Sensor Systems. The work that has already been done here and the development of new technology is impressive, and forms a good foundation for us to grow as a company, says Heiberg.
- We will make measurement and monitoring of critical infrastructure easier, faster and more cost-effective. Recent weather events highlight the importance of simple and seamless measurement of changes in buildings and constructions under wear and tear and climate challenges. This is something that we at Smart Sensor Systems can help solve. We are very motivated by the thought of being able to contribute to solving the society's critical challenges of the future in a slightly better and not least more environmentally friendly way than today, says a committed general manager.
Halvor Heiberg takes over as general manager from Bjørn Otto Eliassen, who helped start up Smart Sensor Systems two years ago together with founder Carl Odvar Hoel, and investors Martin Tan and Caseb AS. During the start-up, the company has developed its own smart data logger, IBridge, and has delivered measurements in buildings and constructions in several places in the country. The head office will now be moved from Grimstad to Oslo.
