We have installed one of our iBridge – a smart sensor-based system, at Høgefoss power station in Vennesla municipality. It is connected to external power and an ultrasonic sensor that is mounted in the hydraulic tanks inside. The hydraulics are in use when the floodgates are operated. The measurement is to monitor whether a leak occurs, and here the level in the tank is measured continuously. Setup is measurement every two seconds with a slope trigger functionality that kicks in at a given change. Agder Energi will itself install the remaining iBridges at several of its plants as a test of the technology.
